The North Carolina Civics Coalition (NC3) is a project of NC educators, youth and adult leaders, and civics champions.
The coalition is working to advance civic education in NC by:
Highlighting and sharing information about NC civic education resources and programs
Convening youth and adult stakeholders for engagement and dialogue about civic literacy and youth civic leadership in NC
Serving as a resource about effective civic learning policy and practices
Advancing interest in civic education in NC
Other goals and work as determined by NC3 leadership

The NC3 is a state affiliate of CivXNow. Seed funding is provided by iCivics. Led by the steering team, NC3 is coordinated by GenerationNation, a North Carolina nonprofit focused on K-12 civic education and youth leadership.
